Emergency eye care

Sudden vision loss, an injury, or severe eye pain should be seen the same day, not weeks later at a routine appointment. Our offices keep room for urgent eye problems, and both ophthalmologists and optometrists are on staff to handle them.

What's Involved

  • Same-day assessment — A full examination of the front and back of the eye while the problem is still active.
  • On-site imaging — OCT, retinal photography, and pressure testing available in the office.
  • Escalation when needed — Direct coordination to surgical or retinal care if the problem calls for it.

When to Come In

  • Sudden loss of vision — Any change that comes on over minutes or hours.
  • Eye injury — Impact, chemical splash, or a penetrating injury.
  • Severe pain with redness — Particularly alongside halos, nausea, or light sensitivity.
